On-line registration is the preferred method of registration and provides you with ready access to hotel reservations. Online registration is now open! After your on-line registration for the Joint Meeting is complete, instructions will be provided for making hotel reservations. ACPA/NASPA members must provide their member number/username and password to receive member rates. Members must obtain their number from their respective association. To take advantage of member rates, non-members need to submit their membership to either association; allow one business day for processing in order to obtain member rates through the on-line registration system. |
If you are not able to register on line, the following alternatives are available:
- Mail or Fax
Complete the registration form. If you register by mail or fax, please note that access to hotel reservations will not be available until your registration is processed and you receive your confirmation. Payment must accompany registration. Registration and payment can be mailed or faxed if received or postmarked by February 28, 2007. Fax can be sent to (330) 963-0319. Registration can be mailed to: ACPA/NASPA Joint Meeting, P.O. Box 79597, Baltimore, MD 21279-0597.
- Onsite
Attendees may register onsite during Joint Meeting Registration Hours. Attendees are strongly encouraged to register prior to the Joint Meeting to avoid delays.
Important! Send your registration form only once. Sending registration forms via fax, mail, and on-line results in multiple registrations and multiple charges to your credit card. A handling fee may be assessed to correct multiple payments as the result of multiple submissions.

Payment Methods
Payment may be made by check, money order, or credit card (MasterCard, Visa or American Express). Purchase orders will not be accepted. A service/processing fee of $35 per registration will be assessed for returned checks, or changes in payment method or credit card after initial payment is processed.
Registration Deadlines
Early-Bird Deadline: January 31, 2007
All registrations with accompanying payments must be received or postmarked by this date to qualify for this rate. If filing on-line, payment must be submitted by 11:59 pm EST. This is the last date to submit a written request for a full refund, less the $35 handling fee.
Regular Registration Deadline: February 28, 2007
All registrations with accompanying payments must be received or postmarked by this date to qualify for this rate. If filing on-line, payment must be submitted by 11:59 pm EST. This is the last date registrations can be mailed or faxed. This is also the last date to request a refund equal to 50% of the appropriate registration fee.
Eligibility for Rates and Registration Policies
- All individuals, including program presenters, attending the Joint Meeting must pay a registration fee.
- Student rates are for full-time students only. Those who are employed full-time and are taking courses are not eligible for these rates.
- In order to qualify for member rates, your membership with ACPA or NASPA must be valid through April 4, 2007. If your membership is due prior to April 4, 2007, you will need to renew prior to February 28, 2007 to retain the member rate.
- Payment must accompany the registration form. Postmark date of payment will determine the registration rate if payment is sent after the registration form is submitted.
- Registrations are not transferable except for like membership types.
- In order to register for a Pre-Meeting Workshop, you must be registered for the Joint Meeting with one exception. ACPA/NASPA Members who wish to attend only the International Symposium may register for that Pre-Meeting Workshop without registering for the Joint Meeting by paying a slightly higher fee.
- All candidates and employers using the Joint Meeting Placement and Career Services Center must be registered for the Joint Meeting in addition to Placement and Career Services.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
To cancel a Joint Meeting or Next Generation registration and request a refund, a written request (e-mail is acceptable) must be sent to registration@2007jointmeeting.org or faxed to (330) 963-0319. Telephone requests will not be honored. Refund checks or credits will be issued four to six weeks after the Joint Meeting.
- Refund requests received or postmarked by January 31, 2007 will receive a full refund less a $35 handling fee.
- Refund requests received or postmarked between February 1 and February 28, 2007 will receive a refund equal to 50 percent of the appropriate registration fee.
- Refund requests received or postmarked after February 28, 2007 will not be honored.
- Awards Luncheon, State President's Breakfast and, Pre-Meeting Workshop fees (except International Symposium Only Registrations) will be refunded in full if written request is received or postmarked by February 28, 2007. After February 28, 2007, no refund is available.
- Fees for Placement and Career Service registration, positions listing(s), and table(s) are not refundable.
