Volunteer Information Sheet
Volunteers are at the core of ACPA and NASPA!
Please help make this Joint Meeting a success by serving your association as a volunteer! Several hundred volunteers are needed for specific tasks, as well as miscellaneous duties throughout the Joint Meeting.
How to Volunteer
Sign-up to volunteer when you submit your on-line registration materials, or contact Kim McMahon at kmcmahon@admin.fsu.edu You will be contacted in February with further information and instructions. If you have a specific area of interest, please direct that request to Kim McMahon.
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
Registration
Volunteers are needed to assist with registration each day of the conference. A special need exists Friday, March 30 as employers and candidates arrive early to prepare for Placement.
Transportation
Volunteers are needed to assist with loading and un-loading of busses at the Gaylord and Marriott hotels. Shuttles will run between the 2 properties all day, every day.
Hospitality
Volunteers are needed to welcome participants to Orlando and answer questions related to the Joint Meeting schedule and activities.
Opening Session
Volunteers are needed to help seat participants before the opening session, as well as direct them to the Gala location.
Access Tours
Volunteers are needed to serve as mobility guides, explaining how to navigate the facilities and hotels.
Miscellaneous
Volunteers will be assigned to various tasks throughout the meeting, which may include hosting attendees and guests, serving as a runner, staffing the hospitality desk, and
Volunteers who serve for a minimum of 4 hours will receive a commemorative lapel pin.
